History

QDT was established in 1999 as Goanna Adventures working mainly in the “under 35” segment. Destinations then included Outback Queensland, Fraser Island, Moreton island, Stradbroke Island and the Barrier Reef. Through a change in marketing strategy and re-branding in 2011, the company re-launched itself as Queensland Day Tours.

We had a new range of products specifically designed to offer a broad choice of quality tours to the areas in South-East Queensland that we consider to be the premier destinations for visitors. We have won numerous Awards since from both tourism bodies and partner Travel Agencies.
